Kum & Go Joins TIO Network
Will offer Info Touch’s self-serve payment, financial services in 34 locations

WEST DES MOINES, Iowa -- Kum & Go LC and Info Touch Technologies Corp. have forged a strategic alliance to roll out self-service bill payment and financial service kiosks starting with 34 Kum & Go locations in Omaha, Nebraska and Tulsa, Oklahoma.
These “cash-accepting” ATM-like terminals will provide Kum & Go customers with convenient self-service access to a variety of in-store financial services. Initially, the terminals will enable customers to use cash to pay bills for major wireless, utility and cable bills as well as use maps and directions and access the Internet.
Secondary plans are to add self-service support for money transfer services, wireless top-up delivery of PIN-based products and services, stored-value credit card reloads and other financial services geared towards the nonbanked community, subject to and in coordination with Kum and Go’s existing financial services partners.
“The kiosk offers unique services to the Kum & Go customer,” says Kyle Krause, president of Kum & Go, West Des Moines, Iowa. “Ultimately, our goal is to extend an additional convenience to our customers.”

The TIO network, not including this deployment, is comprised of more than 400 kiosks in more than 400 locations throughout North America. With this deployment, the TIO network will extend its reach to 64 cities and 23 states across the United States.
Kum & Go has grown to more than 420 convenience stores in 13 states: Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Colorado, Arkansas, Wyoming and Wisconsin.
Burnaby, B.C.-based Info Touch Technologies, a strategic investment of Hewlett Packard, is building the TIO Network, a national, multi-retailer network of financial services kiosks for the nonbanked consumer marketplace. The company leverages its core competencies in self-service bill payment processing, financial services aggregation and automation to create financial viability for its network and its location partners. Info Touch’s Premiere (powered by Surfnet) is a software platform for the delivery of automated services such as bill payment, money transfer, digital merchandising, PIN dispensing for prepaid products and services, maps and directions, check cashing and electronic coupons.
Info Touch clients include: Circle K, ExxonMobil, Alimentation Couche-Tard, Speedway Super America, Cricket Communications, Memphis Light Gas & Water and Qwest Communications.
