INFO TOUCH TECHNOLOGIES- FINANCIAL RESULTS FOR 2002
Gross Profit Margins Increased Substantially
Burnaby, December 18, 2002

Burnaby, BC, December 18, 2002 – Info Touch Technologies (www.infotouch.net) (IFT: TSX Venture Exchange) announced operating results for the Company’s fiscal year ended July 31, 2002.
The Company reported a solid increase in revenue, with a significant advertising sales increase by its wholly owned subsidiary, Clicks and Mortar Media Inc (CMMI). Revenue increased 20% to $3,532,218 versus $2,953,374 one year ago. Gross profit margins increased to 33% of revenue, a substantial increase over margins of 24% one year ago. Administration expenses decreased by $634,729 while selling and marketing costs increased marginally as a proportion of revenue. The loss from operations decreased by 29% to $2,064,551 from $2,926,597 one year ago.
“The year 2002 reflected persistence and determination to complete the outsourcing of all production activities and the execution of our software and service centric business model,” stated Hamed Shahbazi, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Info Touch. “With these objectives achieved, we realized significant cost-efficiencies and a substantial increase in our gross profit margins. These developments in combination with our growing base of recurring revenue have set the foundation to realize our goal of sustained profitable growth.”
With the support of Info Touch’s equity partner, Hewlett Packard, a firm relationship has been developed with ConocoPhillips by implementing and driving the success of the ZapLink kiosk deployment. As a result of the success of this project the company recently announced the deployment of up to 500 public e-services terminals at selected Circle K stores in Phoenix, Tucson, and other southwestern markets in 2003. Industry experts have stated that this project has set a benchmark for the right way to implement a kiosk-based transactional and economically self-sustaining business model.
Info Touch’s business model is now built to withstand difficult economic times and deliver sustainable profitability due to its focus on high value convenience based transactions.
In 2002, Info Touch received the 2002 Deloitte & Touch Canadian Technology Fast 50 (#25) and Technology Fast 500 (#314) awards. Both awards confirm Info Touch’s solid position as one of North America’s leading technology innovators.
The company is pleased to announce its Annual General Meeting will be held in Vancouver on Friday January 10 2003, at 2:00pm at the company’s offices located at 450 - 4170 Still Creek Dr, Burnaby, BC.
