Compaq Canada Corp. Announces Four-Year Strategic
Alliance with Info Touch TechnologiesCompaq Canada continues commitment to accelerate
growth of Canadian technology companies
BURNABY, BC, September 5, 2001


RICHMOND HILL, Ontario - Compaq Canada Corp. today announced a strategic alliance with Canadian Internet kiosk pioneer, Info Touch Technologies Corp. of Burnaby BC. The partnership establishes Compaq as the preferred technology provider for Info Touch kiosks.
As part of the agreement, Compaq will invest (US) $500,000 (CDN $770,000) in Info Touch and work with the company on joint marketing efforts targeting the kiosk industry. In return, Info Touch will standardize to Compaq technology for use with the majority of its Internet kiosks.
