Info Touch Appoints Allan Adler To Board of Directors
Multi-faceted high-tech industry executive adds wealth of experience to Info Touch team
Burnaby, BC, May 4, 2004
Info Touch Technologies Corp. (IFT:TSXV), a leader in the development and commercialization of secure financial transaction software and kiosk based services, is pleased to announce the appointment of Allan Adler to its Board of Directors. A consultant, CEO and venture capitalist, Mr. Adler brings more than 20 years of business and financial experience in the high-tech industry to the Info Touch board.
“Allan Adler is a tremendous addition to our Board of Directors,” said Info Touch CEO Hamed Shahbazi. “With a wealth of practical corporate and capital markets experience, Allan’s assistance will be of tremendous benefit as we continue to broaden Info Touch’s market reach and product offering in line with our corporate strategy to drive transactional revenue growth.”
Currently, Mr. Adler is an Engagement Partner with Crimson Consulting Group where he creates partnership, channel and go-to-market strategies for leading information technology companies. From 2002 to 2004, Mr. Adler self-funded WorkingWild, a WiFi public Internet access company, to become the number four market leader. In five quarters of operation, WorkingWild developed the industry’s first profitable WiFi/HotSpot business model.
Prior to WorkingWild, Allan formed Venture Vision Consulting, a venture capital firm specializing in technology start-ups, and was CEO of MSI Consulting Group, a 100-person sales and marketing strategy firm focused on the high tech industry. At MSI, Allan consulted to executives at firms such as Cisco, Oracle, Microsoft, Intel, IBM, AT&T and HP and was a frequent keynote speaker, conference leader, and contributing columnist for a leading technology publication. Before MSI, Allan worked as a consultant with The Boston Consulting Group and received his MBA from Harvard Graduate School of Business where he was honored as a Baker Scholar. Allan is also a CPA and has served on several for-profit and not-for-profit boards.
