Info Touch Appoints New Chief Technology Officer

Hamed Shahbazi, Chairman and CEO of Info Touch Technologies, North America's leading kiosk Technology Company, (www.infotouch.net) (IFT: TSX Venture Exchange) announces the appointment of Mr. Roy Goncalves as Info Touch’s new Chief Technology Officer, (CTO). Effective immediately, Mr. Goncalves takes over the responsibility of steering future vision and direction of Info Touch’s SurfnetÔ software technology from Hamed Shahbazi, who has been the Acting CTO since February 2000.
Mr. Goncalves promotion will see him strategically overseeing, reviewing and validating technology related decisions for Info Touch while mapping the organization’s technology direction. As CTO, Mr. Goncalves will also drive Info Touch internally and externally in Professional Services and Research and Development projects including involvement as a sponsor of strategic projects, reviews and architecture and design.
Prior to his appointment, Mr. Goncalves has been Info Touch’s Vice President of Software Development, and an instrumental leader in the architectural design and implementation of Info Touch’s NetLock and SurfnetÔ technologies.
